Elder Holland was doing a training for CES teachers back in 1992. Jesus had intended his hearers sense just a little of the eternal scope and profound gift of his mercy, his forgiveness, his atonement. He says if you from your hearts forgive not everyone, his brother, their trespasses,. So the conclusion is how many times should we forgive as many times as we want to be forgiven by Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ? That's how many times. It kind of puts things in perspective here, right at the end.
