ROR Gamma T-Regs in Colonic Bacteria

The ROR gamma T-regs seem to be heavy-handers in the suppression of immune responses at the site. The utility isn't why we're seeing them so much because these are the sort of organisms now we're using to modify microbiomes. These organisms that attach to you but aren't necessarily going to invade your lymph nodes and your blood and kill you. That's where they seem to be important. Now what I hypothesize we're looking at more closely is that organmaty T- Regs evolved to shut down chronic inflammation at those barrier sites under extreme circumstances.
