Thesis and Fidra
Thesis and Fidra were the king and queen of Athens, the mythological founders of Athenian democracy. She'd fallen in love with Hippolytus - Thesis's son with the Amazon queen Hippolyta. In vengeance, she told Thesis that hurt his son had raped her. This curse caused hippolytus's horses to become surprised by a sea monster and he fell and was dragged to his death.
