When I interview like a gross PM or analyst, I will always ask, what is the experiment you launched that has a very unexpected result? And what did you do after that? What do you look for in an answer there that makes you feel like they are strong? So first of all, they have to be launching a lot of experiments to get a very unexpected answer. If they are, they should expect that based on what they describe, then they are now thinking deep enough. They are not understanding customer enough. That's the problem. It's so hard to do well. Oh, man. I'm not optimistic, but I'm excited anyway.
