The Labour Party and the Iraq War

The next thing that happens politically again has a substantial link to Iraq, which is the SNP. Alex Sammond had banged on and on about Blair in Iraq and a demanded Blair's impeachment. And the Iraq war was hugely unpopular in Scotland. That's one thing. Clegg mania, that brief burst of support for the Lib Dems and the idea that the conservative and Labour duopoly in 2010 was kind of bankrupt.Iraq was in there somewhere given that the Lib Dems had a clean bill of health on Iraq. I remember visiting Scotland at that time and being struck by that.
