The Pros and Cons of ORMs

Jared: I mean, a lot of what TypeScript has been able to do for sure is on top of the core evolution of just JavaScript itself. So it's basically that you've got a relational database floating around that you'd like to talk to as ergonomically as possible. There's also reads, but then also writes, you know, writing back, which have changed. But there's a spectrum of how fancy ORMs go in so far as doing just queries and then also doing the reads and the writes back.
