Hiring the wrong person is really painful, because you have to fire them. It's an inevitable, sort of unthinking following of the incentives. Once you're aware of the problem, you can start to sink in a bit of extra effort up front and get am access to all sorts of candidates who you previously have excluded. And and rebalance too. Basically tht you have have a lower false negative rate, sir, now i'm doing it, your lower bad reject rate while keeping the the bad, higher rate more or less the same.
