The Learning Machine Is Like a Large Language Model
There's a very large leap between that and knowledge is now unknowable. By what process does the learning machine stores its knowledge distills it and retrieves it remains similarly unknown? No, it doesn't. This is like pointing to a library. And because there are more books in it than you can read in a lifetime going, this library is like sort of fundamentally unknowable. There's shit in here which we can't even like conceive of. Yeah, it's cosmic horror.
