Argentina is an interest economist like to talk about because about 100 years ago was one of the most prosperous countries in the world. Now it's not as unprosibrous as one might think, but it has pursued a very high level and erratic level of inflation. But part of its problem, if not a significant part of its lack of economic progress over the last century is due to the fact that inflation has been a perennial problem.
