Is There a Difference Between Humans and Mice?

In humans, during the process of an embryo developing and producing its own eggs or sperm, a lot of those epigenetic marks that may have accumulated in one's lifetime get stripped away. So in a way, it's kind of like a racing memory in every generation. That doesn't necessarily totally close the door on epigenetics as a kind of heredity in humans. There might be other molecules that can also carry this kind of epigenetic inheritance forward.
