Elixir Code Generation
Elixir is built with code generation in mind. It seems like the preferred way of achieving some of the customizations is to tweak the template and then regenerate something. Despite running a simple shell script, with fine place that has worked well for us. The 80, 20 rule means that it takes care of most of the use cases. Like when the Phoenix live update happened in October, that was a little bit of a pain. We just have to update live and one repo and then shepherd it across all the repos. Easier.
