The Integral Stage

CHAPTER

Is There a Limit?

I like thinking about God as an unspecified set of implicitly non-absolutistic limit conditions, which are of all kinds. That boundary is not closed and therefore is inherently ambiguous and inherently relational with whatever it does not close upon. I think that's young Descartes spirituality was in finding limit conditions of thought but the conversation around limit conditions has traditionally been that they are absolute limits. And they really are, they're much more like infinitesimal where it still functions, it completely functions, but it never completely gets there.
