Is the ChIPs Act a Good Example?
I think this is actually at the crux of any debate about globalization or globalism. There's a wonderful French word, I don't try to speak French too much, but it's a dear adjust. And that's basically a word that means how involved in your economy should the government be. Over the past maybe 40 years we've had a very market oriented, dear adjust in the United States and other developed economies. This is a throwback to an earlier era in economic history.
