Do These Lights Really Help With Seasonal Affective Disorder?
The idea is that these lights, and there are two types of these lights. There are ones that slowly wake you up and then kind of flood you with light first thing in the morning. Or there's brighter, bigger panel lights. The idea is that that shower of light in the morning tells your body that it is morning and it locks your internal clock to the outside world. And it also makes you feel more alert too. Using them during the day, I think is fine. But I wouldn't use them late into the afternoon or definitely not in the evening because they're telling your body to wake up and you don't want to shift your body clock in the wrong direction.
