Is There a Silver Lining in a Recession?
Canada and australia have the most ridiculous house prices in the world. The run up's just been unsustainable, i think. I hesitate to say silver linings because it affects so many people negatively. But we could do with house prices becoming a bit more sensible,. E but are there other things which a recession could bring about, which are potentially positive? Er, there's always this idea of creative destruction - where when you have one of these pullbacks in the economy, you cind of sweep away all the bad stuff that is out there.
