Emmeline Pankhurst and the Bodyguard

In february of 19 14, emmeline pankhurst gave a speech from a balcony. The police had been waiting for her to finish the speech and axit the house so that they could arrest her. When she did walk out, escorted by the body guard, a fight broke out. A suffragette, gertrod hardin ole, the bodyguard, drew their clubs and attacked the police who were swarming about the door where missus pankhurst would emerge. So in the middle of this fight, the police clabbed pankhurst in the back of the head, cracked their ribs and knocked her out. And then they dragged their unconscious away
