Saddam Hussein did not actually indicate he was a threat to the United States. He just made a condemn the Tory statement. So I'm not claiming that he threatened how fire and brimstone, but he poked the bear. It was stupid because it definitely contributed to the muscle memory that Bush already had of the guy who tried to kill his father.
