Tipping Is Not a Legacy of Slavery
Hanna nicol jones said that tipping is a legacy of slavery, but she doesn't know what she's talking about. Tipping in europe has its roots in feudalism, where it was sort of a kind of nobles oblige to throw a couple coins at a serf or a peoni who did good work. A inno, we may be tipped too much. We may have instituted, institutionalized tipping too much. It took me two seconds of goggling to find never mind my lived experience having been to quite a few countries, tipping is a custom in lots of countries, including africa.
