The US Marathon Trials in Florida

The US marathon trials are taking place in Florida and midday. The average temperature at that time of the day is in the low to mid 70s Fahrenheit which is in the 20s Celsius 25 degrees Celsius range. So they'll be coming from 40 degrees to 70 degrees and that's a challenge heat-wise. But I think it whilst it's been done for TV I think it does actually make sense for the Olympics. Like you would want to select athletes who've shown the ability to tolerate heat and maybe more importantly apply themselves to prepare for heat because that's what the Olympics will ask of them. We've seen it before like Dina Kaster and Meb back in Athens was it winning
