Fox argued they couldn't be liable for defamation in some specific case because things that pundits said on Fox News were not meant to be taken literally. So now you see every time you go anywhere on social media and mention Fox, someone will say, well, Fox has admitted they're an entertainment channel, not a news channel. It's completely wrong about what they did. And people just run with that and said, well the entire channel is not news so we can shut it down.
