The Bible Is Designed to Be Read in Community
For 15 hundred years of christianity, most of humanity couldn't read. By definition, the whole idea of reading a bible by yourself didn't exist until 500 years ago. And even then, it took ot for literacy rates to improve and stuff. So am s i think the bibles, even even now we have the ability to read it on our own, i still think it keeps the original purpose and design. Scripture is meant to be read and interpreted in community.
