The Preference of People in China

People's preferences are organized by the least they follow. People in one quadrant who were pro market reform, politically liberal and sort of ccul oh, socially liberal, all clustered in the samequadrant. And then people who were statists, you know, who wanted more, uh, market participation by the state. Buti, i think, compared with the united states, the preferencs of the chinese public although we find they're stable, but they're more diverse, and they're less polorized because of lack of party competition or electro competition.
