In the last 20 years, if somebody sent me a recording or like a set of files that was in Pro Tools from like 2008, I wouldn't be able to work on it. And there was a tornado in Nashville in 2020 and one of the biggest things that they had to deal with was making sure that their masters were okay. "I would much rather have to deal with that precarity," he says.
