WebAssembly: A Side Job for a Municipal Utility Company

WebAssembly is an assembly language that lets computers communicate with each other via the internet. It was developed by Google's Xcode team, and it has been used in a number of high-profile products including Apple's iPhone 5s. The project started out as work for a municipal utilities company who wanted to monitor their water supply using cameras.
