The connection between Hollywood and venture capital is closely aligned with entrepreneurship as well. Back in the old days, the old Hollywood system, it was the studio system. The studios made all the money but they weren't making what Tom Cruise is now. And really, OVitz was a big part of changing the game to elevate the actors and the directors to really get huge shares of the economics in Hollywood.
