The Creative Process Is Not a Product of Talent, You Know?

I think we tend to overlook the dogs in the filmographies of people we love, you know? Oh yeah. Like this was his peak output because this is the kind of view of an artist's creative trajectory that we tend to want to follow along. And sometimes that does match up with the reality, but I don't know how to picture that influence of chance and luck. It's obviously true because there are people who can be incredibly skilled in one instance, and then make something that nobody really likes,. But that's just not often how people like to think about creative talents.
