The Supreme Court's Decision in Alabama's Second Majority Black District
CNN's John Sutter says the Supreme Court is following what has already been on the books for decades. He argues that there was never a time in which you were required to show that the state intentionally discriminated against black voters. The court merely told Alabama, 'We just followed the law,' he writes. "I understand there is reason to be cynical about it," Sutter adds.
