I think current lifters who didn't kind of go through the band craze don't understand just how flexible bands can be. Anything that's reasonably heavy that you can use to anchor bands gives you an angle at which you can do an exercise if you have enough tension. The most challenging muscles to train without access to external resistance in a gim set up are going to be your spinal erectors.
