The Inherent Bias of CEOs
I think it's less about talent than how I've been sampling. Many CEOs believe that they have better information about what customers want than anyone else in their company. So my sampling of what's going on in the world as a CEO is heavily biased toward a handful of very, very large customers. And so it's really hard to maintain balance and a sense of who the overall audience is if I'm getting a very skewed set of inputs like that.
