Hazel - The File Creation Process as a Trigger
The thing that makes Hazel particularly awesome is the async, I'm sorry, asynchronicity. So long as it's sitting on this Mac and it's running, it's just there forever. And so you could have a folder called like a focus mode automations for example. You can just use Hazel as a fake file for triggering things. But if you're just using it to trigger something, maybe keyboard my shirt is the right thing to do there.
