The Problem of Overfitting Statistical Models
Overfitting is when you have trained your statistical model on a data set that doesn't necessarily represent what's happening in the future. We saw this a lot in rocketry when you test rockets and stuff like that. But if a manufacturer changes the construction techniques, it completely changed the material properties of what we were doing.
