i'm finding that the kids in the koop are doing really deeply interpretive work. They're selecting passages that have some sort of heat, some sort of attraction for them. And then they're responding to those crea ly. It sounds very simple, but what i'm seeing is that it's so true even for the youngest kids in the class,. Even for the fourth graders, their work illustrating is helping us to see the tempest better.
