Government Bonds Are the Most Liquid Market
The thing that is the easiest to hold currently is government bonds. The market for treasuries is not one fungible good, it's not like gold or Bitcoin and they all are at the same with treasuries. And each one of these has a different price and a different market. So perhaps what we're seeing here is an incoming recession ends up happening at the same time as having this price increase.
