Is There a Major Recession in 2023?
Most economic indicators show that the economy's been decelerating from its peak in 2021. I think we're looking at a high likelihood of at least a mild recession, but how severe or long it is will partly depend on policymakers. Energy might be volatile this year, but I don't think it's going to be one of those big, long, persistent, disinflationary financial crises like people come to expect.
