The World Is Made of Stories

The world is made of stories, says David Ray Griffin. What does that tell us about buddhism? And what's the relationship between story and applicable wisdom? i wouldn't say they're just stories, but in an important sense, they're grounded in stories. I mean, unlike the abrahamic religions, for buddhism, its delusion versus wisdom or ignorance versus awakening.
