Romano Gourdini: Explorations in Technology and the Human Race
In Laudato Si, Pope Francis cites Romano Gourdini five times. He noticed the shift when he was a young man, he went to Lake Como. One of his most famous books is called Letters from Lake Como and Explorations in Technology and the Human Race. In one of those letters, he reflects on the images of homes and boats around this Lake Como using it as a metaphor for the technocratic paradigm.
