How I Got Started in the Data Resources Business
I grew up in San Diego I had no money when I was growing up and when I went to college I was on a full needs-based scholarship including student loans work study and a scholarship. When I graduated from Oxi I went to work for an economic consulting firm called Data Resources which did econometric modeling. The capital group was a client of DRI and I made a transition from DRI to capital and so that's how I got into the business. We now have more computers at capital than we have people, he says.
