Battery Recycling Is Not Going to Make Up for the Need for Critical Minerals
How big of a resource do you think battery recycling will be for future lithium and other minerals in the domestic supply chain? And more specifically, how far do you think recycling can go to close that cap? Not just old car batteries, but from phones and other small batteries as well. There is not enough supply of recyclable batteries today to make up for the majority or even close to the majority of the need for critical minerals.
