Iz Addin Al Cassam, the Prophet of the Ottoman Empire

Mohammed iz addin al casam was a leader of the kadari sufi order in syria. His family had been leaders of an order of ufi moslems called thekadari sufis. Al Casam looked around at the arab world under the late decadent ottoman empire, and he did not like what he saw. The young turks were a modernizing force in ottoman politics. And when they started to declare it too much trouble to protect as well, some people began to wonder if they would let it go.
