Fane Arteles and the Silmarils

"It took me several reads to start to see the Fane or Morgoth comparison which you know the more you think about it the more clear it is. It was only after that that I started to kind of read it and catch all these little things that I think Tolkien was really trying to make clear Fane or is not a good guy," he said. "I do need to kind of give a little bit of grace to those first second third time readers who you know don't see Fane or in quite the same dark light as as I see him."
