The One Child Policy in China

One child policy has in effect created a generation that's comfortable with one child. Many people haven't known anything else and they either don't want or can't afford to have more children. Having more children is viewed as incompatible with having a fulfilling career, says Ewing. The BBC spoke to Zhou Guanghuang from Hunan province in south central China he experienced the cruelty of the one child policy first hand.
