The Children of Zion Are Educated by the Lord
The children of zion would be taught by the lord, says John Goldingay. The transition from stones of the city to the children of the city is a shift that might be eased by the similarities of the words in the hebrew. Many elements of this chapter might recall the promise of the new covenant. A situation where each generation makes sacrifices for the next while delivering a harvest on the sacrifices of the previous generation is the ideal.
