Film Review - Peter Weir's the Impossible Man

There's a memorable dinner party scene right at the centre of the film. The dining table habab then sort of clears out into this immaculately cheesy moment. It all builds up to the immigration interview where they finally, finally have to talk about each other in separate holding rooms. And it's the first time that we and they get to truly understand how they now feel about each other.
