Is There Any Prospect of Belarus Being Drawn in Directly?
Ukraine has suggested that Belarus might be drawn into the war directly. But it seems quite unlikely, really - Lukashenko is very resistant to Russian pressure. The reasons for that are probably that if he were to commit his troops to the war, his own rule would be less secure because they're required to secure his own hold on power. I think the other thing just to add to Edo's excellent points there is the extent to which Belarus's own sovereignty has really been undermined in recent years.
