I don't believe in the golden rule of treating other people as they wish to be treated I think that's a silver rule to me. My effort is to try to find doubts and understand how you'd like to be treated wow if I can't do that then I go to the silver rule well I'm just going to treat you how I wish to betreated with respect love that's cool. The story of Jesus in the desert is classic challenge especially based on Reza Aslan's idea that he's described as a magician. Satan appears doing the desert as he's gone out there to calm his mind and commune with the divine but instead tempt him to use his power to do worldly
