Astrology's Reflections on Current Events

In episode 469 astrologers Chris Brennan and Austin Coppock discuss the astrological forecast for December 2024, and talk about news and events from the past month through the lens of astrology. For the first 90 minutes of the episode we talk about news that happened since our last forecast, starting with the outcome of the 2024 US presidential election, and then in the second half of the episode we do a deep dive into the astrology of December. The astrology of December opens with the second half of a troublesome Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius, plus a contentious Mars retrograde period beginning in Leo. The middle of the month features some favorable aspects, such as Mercury stationing direct, and an auspicious trine between Venus and Jupiter. December ends with major tensions building, as Mars and Pluto move into a difficult opposition, which will culminate at the very beginning of January.
