What's the Sector Model of Activists?
Sections are categories by which things are organized, but then a group like children's self-defense is one of the groups that's involved. So they're in there, they're working in public ways, depending on what serves them best. And we've had tremendous success over the last 10 years and working with this sector model. We've stopped a lot of aerial spraying with glyphosate in Hawaii,. We got GMOs labeled in Colorado and so forth through using this sector model because kind of the traditional pattern for activists is an individual or a few people set out to save the world by themselves.
