Introduction
Richard Burke is a professor of the history of political thought at Cambridge. His books include Peace in Ireland, The War of Ideas and An Empire in Revolution. He won the 2015 Istvan Hunt Book Prize for his work on Edmund Burke. Professor Burke's new book, Hegel's World Revolutions, is out later this year with Princeton University Press.
