The Genetic Influence of Religion

Religiosity is one of the least genetically and most culturally influenced factors. It's unclear how you can go from reward circuitry that specifies glucose or smiles to religiosity without like without the genome kind of whispering more things in your ear so to speak. One thing that the genome can do is it can have simple classifiers over internal states of experience. This could bias people towards being more or less religious orbeing spiritual but not religious.
