How Do You Stand Out Against 60,000 Other Songs?
There are over 60, 70,000 songs released every day. How do you get the attention? The real answer to that is by any means necessary. When you're making a song, you have to be able to put it between Jay-Z and Kanye. And it has to sound as good. You can't go from the first song and then it dips a little bit. Then on top of that, you need to understand who your market is because if you have a song that's perfect for women, who are 24 to 36, and you're marketing to men that are 13 to 15, again, you're fucked.
